Do I have to retype my links to switch over?
No. Paste the URL and we read the links off it — Linktree, Bouncy, Linkme, Milkshake, Campsite.bio, lnk.bio and Solo.to. Beacons builds in the browser and exposes nothing to read, so that one is a manual add.
Which parts of this are paid?
Free: the page, unlimited links, every embed and product card, the gallery, light & dark themes. Studio: scheduling, countdown and urgency timers, email capture, video backgrounds, no Obsydian branding. Black: your own domain, up to 5 pages, the Noir theme, the gold avatar ring and the two-phase countdown.
Does a video embed play on my page, or send them somewhere else?
It plays where it is. YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Vimeo and Loom become real players in the page — a YouTube channel link pulls your latest video in on its own. Anything we can't play safely becomes a rich card, not a blank box.
Can I try a redesign without my page changing while I work?
Yes. A draft is a full copy of your page you can rebuild and publish when it's finished; your live page carries on untouched until you do. Two drafts on Free, unlimited on Studio.
Can my second page look completely different?
Yes — theme, fonts, background, links and privacy settings live on the profile, not the account, so nothing carries across. Obsydian Black includes up to 5 pages, each with its own handle.
