Is the affiliate program open?
Yes — apply below with an Obsydian account and page. We read every submission ourselves and get back to you personally, usually within a few days.
What's the commission?
30% of every payment a referred subscriber makes, for their first 12 months — so if they stay 3 months you earn on 3, if they stay the full year you earn on all 12.
Do I get anything for signing up?
Yes — every approved affiliate gets a free month of Obsydian Studio as a welcome perk. Creator Partners get a full year of Obsydian Black instead.
What's the difference between a Creator Partner and an Affiliate?
Creator Partners are a small, hand-picked group we work with directly — free access to the top plan, no commission tracking required. Affiliates are the open track: apply, get a referral link, earn commission on anyone who signs up through it.
Do I need an audience of a certain size?
No hard minimum. We're looking for creators who'd genuinely use and recommend Obsydian, not just reach.
