Bouncy (bouncy.ai) is a smart-link service built around one real problem: links opened inside Instagram, TikTok and other in-app browsers lose saved passwords, Apple Pay and persistent carts, so logins and checkouts fail more often than they should. Bouncy wraps your link so visitors are handed to their real browser instead, and adds analytics, custom domains and a link-in-bio page. It also sells white-label smart-link infrastructure to other platforms.

The in-app browser problem Bouncy describes is real, and escaping it genuinely helps — Obsydian does the same thing, on page load and again at the moment a visitor taps an outbound link, which is where the checkout actually happens. The difference is what you pay for it and what surrounds it. Bouncy meters links: its $8 creator plan covers a single link, and a normal bio page with 8–15 links sits on a $35–$75 tier. Obsydian doesn't charge per link at any tier, and adds what a link tool doesn't have — watermarking, always-on EXIF/GPS scrubbing and leak tracing. One further difference is deliberate: Bouncy lists link cloaking among its features. Obsydian doesn't offer it, because showing a platform's crawler something different from what visitors see is against Meta's and TikTok's published policies, and enforcement there tends to land on the whole domain rather than one link.
