Pic-Time sells your galleries beautifully. Obsydian makes sure the files inside them stay yours.
Pic-Time is a client-gallery and sales platform built by photographers: elegant gallery delivery, a strong print/art store, marketing automations, and (as of its 2026 '2.0' update) AI tools and deeper customization. Like Pixieset, it's aimed at the client-photography business, with particular strength in automated store marketing.
We're biased — but honest.
Pic-Time's protection model is the industry's standard one: watermark the preview, sell the clean file. That works for wedding gallery sales — it does nothing for a creator whose delivered files get reposted, or whose originals carry GPS coordinates. Obsydian protects the file that actually leaves your hands: a visible mark that survives screenshots, an invisible tag in the original, a per-recipient ID for tracing, and automatic EXIF/GPS scrubbing. Different job, different tool.
